My friend Chriss has posted a Clean/Organize Your Studio Challenge and I'm finally getting down to business! Sure looks like I need to doesn't it?
I have let it go TOO long! This is my project for today.
I have a question for you all though. How in the world do you organize these "Letters to Go"? My husband put these in my stocking for Christmas and I just love them but it takes too long to sift through and find the right letters for whatever word I'm trying to spell. Anyone have any great ideas? I realize it will probably take forever to sort all of them too. There are 5,000 letters!

I thought about using this piece and sectioning out the drawers for the letters. Don't know for sure if it will work though. This is from Chuck's grandpa's auction. It holds lots and lots of little envelopes of watch crystals. I got it to organize my scrap supplies but I just haven't tackled it yet.

The one GOOD thing that is organized is this piece. I got it at a thrift store for around $2! I held all sorts of different paper, typing, tracing, etc. Now it holds a bunch of my supplies.

Rub-ons, stickers, letters, vintage pictures, etc. This is wonderful! I love it. So easy to take out whatever tray you want, grab the stuff, and then put back into place.
Okay, I'm off to get this place back into shape. Any advice, ideas you could share would be greatly appreciated! Or you can join the challenge too. Take pictures of your studio in it's "current state" and then once again after you've cleaned/re-organized and post them on your blog. Be sure to leave a comment so I can check it out.
